Cryptpad is December 2023 OW2 project of the month. CryptPad is a collaborative office suite that is end-to-end encrypted and open-source made at XWiki, a company based in Paris, France that has been making open-source software for over 15 years. Among major news, the team is proud to announce that Version 5.5.0 is out and the next release 5.6.0 is under preparation by the end of 2023.

CryptPad is a collaborative office suite that is end-to-end encrypted and open-source. CryptPad is made at XWiki, a company based in Paris, France that has been making open-source software for over 15 years.

CryptPad aims to demonstrate that you can have both collaboration and privacy, at the same time. We offer a full office suite with real-time collaboration, in addition all data is end-to-end encrypted. The people you invite can edit together in real-time while the service and its administrators cannot read any of the content.

XWiki CEO Ludovic Dubost was recently interviewed by Website Planet about open-source and the control of "cloud" infrastructure.

David Benqué, Cryptpad project Lead, presented CryptPad at the Open Research Webinar organized by OW2 and Eclipse Foundation on 7th November. This event was recorded so that you can view the replay at your convenience.

CryptPad was also mentionned in the French daily newspaper Le Monde, as part of an article about Les Chatons, a group of 96 French alternative Internet Service Providers and non-profit associations supporting open source software.

Telosys is a lightweight code generator designed to reduce developers workload and to bootstrap any kind of project. This new release includes Kotlin as a new predefined target language, new annotations for the model, and  new objects in the templates, generation in batch mode.

Telosys is multi-targets, it can be used to generate code for any programming language with any type of framework and database.

The project entities are defined in a "model" based on text files according to a fairly simple grammar (you just need a text editor to create/update a model).

The template engine used to generate the code is Velocity (well known Apache tool). Telosys is the ideal tool to get your project "on rails" while respecting your conventions and best practices. Telosys is a powerful code generator that can save developers time and effort. Its highly customizable templates and support for multiple technologies make it an ideal choice for developers who work across different technology stacks.
