Call for Presentations - Deadline February 27, 2022OW2con is the annual event of the OW2 community, it brings together technology experts, software architects, IT developers, project managers and decision-makers from all around the world. It will take place on June 8-9, 2022, online. Pandemic notice: Given the uncertainties looming on international travel in the wake of the pandemic, OW2con will, this year again, be an online event. However, as we think that our community should also meet in person we are planning an additional Community Event to take place end of June in Paris. More details below and to come progressively. The central theme of OW2con’22 is “Reliable and Predictable Open Source Software". As open source becomes more mature, it expands toward more commercial and more business-like segments. By moving up the layers of corporate information systems - from the operating system up to the business applications - open source software is increasingly used by non-IT specialists. The challenge for skilled community developers and professional development teams is to address the needs of the mainstream market with reliable, predictable and well supported industry-grade open source software. We look for talks that improve the technical skills of open source professionals, strike their imaginations and motivate them to excel professionally. The OW2 annual conference is appreciated for its short, focused and cutting-edge sessions.

2022 is a key date in OW2 lifespan as we'll be celebrating the 15-year anniversary. We are planning, if conditions regarding the pandemic allows it, to organize a Social Event on June 29 in Paris, mark the date on your agendas!
