We are working with the organizers of Cloud Expo Europe to afford the OW2 community greater visibility at CEE 2015. OW2 is set to be a leading partner at the new CEE Open Source Park. More details soon.
Dear OW2 Members, dear All,
After a rough start to the year, we are now looking forward with renewed confidence to the second half of 2014. We have a new strategic member, the Technology Council is hard at work and we are now busy organizing OW2's key events: the OW2 programming contest and our annual community conference OW2con.
We are pleased to announce our new Strategic Member Institut Mines-Telecom (IMT). IMT brings to OW2 its network of some of France's most prestigious engineering schools. The OW2 Management Office is looking forward to working with IMT on launching a new initiative in support of their ecosystem of innovative start-ups.
The OW2 programming contest is now officially underway. Students wishing to take part in the contest have until July 15 to register (we are flexible ;). Check out the sponsoring opportunities at the OW2 programming contest award conference here.
Preparations for OW2con'14 are gaining momentum. We have initiated the call for presentations and we are now offering sponsorship opportunities, check out the OW2con'14 sponsorship prospectus here. With the conjunction of Open World Forum, OpenStack Summit and OW2con all within one week, Paris will be right at the heart of the open source world. This year's OW2con is set to be very special as our annual conference will be synchronized with the other two events.
