The CHOReOS FP7 project and the Future Internet OW2 initiative

Schedule: 04:00pm - 04:30pm
Speaker: Pierre Chatel, Thales Communications.
Abstract:
CHOReOS is a new 3 year long project supported by the European Commision's 7th Framework Programme (grant n°257178). CHOReOS objective is sustaining decentralized service choreographies in the Future Internet. It revisits the concept of choreography-centric service-oriented systems to introduce a dynamic development process and associated methods, tools, and middleware for the software systems that implement and coordinate the services in the Ultra Large Scale Future Internet. The artefacts produced by CHOReOS will be integrated and published as open source software via OW2 under the new OW2 "Future Internet" Initiative. This initiative will help the CHOReOS partnership to spread the results to a wide community of users and developers.
The presentation introduces the main tenets behind the concepts of choreography of services as well as behind the Future Internet and will allow the audience to understand the issues at stake.
