New CHOReVOLUTION Platform showcased at POSS 2016
At POSS 2016, OW2 is showcasing a new open source platform designed for IoT, large-scale applications leveraging BPMN2 diagrams and distributed web services.
Paris, November 16, 2016 - OW2, the global community for open source infrastructure software, is showcasing the CHOReVOLUTION platform, a new Eclipse-based IDE and execution platform for service providers and IoT business users at Paris Open Source Summit, 16-17 November 2016.
Visit the OW2 booth #C18 and ask for a demonstration of this innovative platform, a direct result of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. IoT professionals, analysts and journalists are invited to interact with the project team on Nov. 16, from 14:00 to 16:00.
“I’m working in a use case related to Urban Traffic Control in Göteborg, within a research institute mostly involved in the transport sector. We are bringing sustainable transport solutions to the society”, explains Lei Chen, Senior Researcher at Viktoria Swedish ICT, and POSS 2016 speaker.
On Wednesday, November 17, from 11:00 to 12:30pm Lei Chen will talk about his experience with the new Eclipse-based IDE, in room Lausanne:
CHOReVOLUTION Studio helps ITS teams design and run new service compositions without programming expertise.
Using the CHOReVOLUTION platform, Viktoria ICT is building an application that provides a highly responsive traffic solution to car drivers, with real time information on the road situation, accidents, congestions, and the most eco-friendly route to help them reduce their carbon emission and save fuel.
ITS and IoT professionals can find more information reading the project factsheet and the white paper. Developers will grab more technical details on the project’s forge and on the documentation section of the website.
