Roadshow Report: The general outcome is very positive, the visits was definitely worthwhile and it was discussed that a new roadshow could be planned end of the year or in 2010. Attendance was satisfactory (13 people in Karlsruhe and 11 people in Berlin) despite short notice. Most people found the events very interesting and got a good understanding of OW2 (some has wrong ideas about OW2 consortium).
The presentations of OW2 MO, TC and ELC were well appreciated and some information raised a strong interest. For example, the size of OW2 forge and the marketing material available to promote projects. Scope of Europe Local Chapter and type of offered services were well received specially the help on R&D proposal drafting with a OSS context (OSS rationales and support, community building and forge hosting) which met current concerns in KIT.
