OW2 and OCEAN Project invite European Open Cloud Projects to interoperate

The European Open Cloud Collaboration Workshop will take place, May 15, in Brussels, European Commission -  Rooms BU25 0/S2 and 0/S10, 25 Avenue de Beaulieu. 

The workshop will begin by a general session during which all participating project will be coached to perfectly update their listing in the OCEAN Open Cloud Directory and their mapping in the OCEAN Interoperability Framework. For maximum efficiency the workshop will then split into two tracks Architecture and Code.

  • The Architecture track will focus on Service Management, Data Management, and APIs and standards. In each session projects will be invited to make a very short presentation on how the topic is addressed by them and this round of presentation will be followed by an open discussion aimed at identifying project touchpoints and synergies, and at developing collaboration opportunities and commitments.<p>
  • The Code track will be dedicated to OCEAN services. It will provide a hands-on tutorial on how to validate the quality of the software code based on ETICS. Software successfully validated in the workshop will be granted the privilege to display the "Quality Validated by OCEAN"  logo and will be promoted by the OCEAN project.
