The 2012 OW2 Open Source Solutions Roadshow in Brazil will be held May 8-10. There will be three stops in San Paulo, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro. This marketing initiative is a unique opportunity to develop market outreach for OW2 open source solutions promoted by its members.
We are planning stages in three of Brazil's foremost business cities. On-site organization is provided for by our local partners.

eXo Platform will present (pdf) the first open source cloud-ready enterprise portal and user experience platform (UXP) for building connected, collaborative applications and websites that can be deployed on-premises, to mobile devices, or in cloud computing environments.
SpagoWorld will present (pdf) SpagoBI, an open source Business Intelligence suite for enterprise strategic and operational needs and new BI domains, such as location intelligence, visual inquiring, collaboration, KPIs, interactive dashboards, real-time BI and mobile BI.
OW2 will present (pdf) CompatibleOne, the first industry-grade open source cloud broker currently developed by a consortium of 14 partners; CompatibleOne is aligned with the Cloud Computing Reference Architecture of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST U.S. Department of Commerce).
The OW2 Brazil Open Source Solutions Roadshow is an event aimed at triggering opportunities in the OW2 business ecosystem. Business development is the primary focus of the event, while the promotion of the OW2 code base and the development of the community clearly come second.
For this event, we are partnering with Softex and its network of local agents. OW2 and Softex complement each other perfectly: OW2's mission is to help foster a vibrant ecosystem for its members; Softex's mission is to help create business opportunities for Brazilian companies. With this initiative, OW2 and Softex are developing a seamless win-win relationship.
A well targeted audience of 35-50 attendees is expected at each of the three local events. Those attending will be from the regional IT ecosystems: potential partners, systems integrators, VARs and end-users.
