The conference theme this year was "Open Source for the Computing Infrastructure", with a focus on experience sharing and demonstrations of real life implementations of OW2 projects. Out of 1200 people registered for our conference some 20% of turned up, which is a satisfying level of attendance for the first edition of the OW2 Annual Conference.
The Success Stories session was the most successful session, which shows the growing interest in case studies and the recognition of OW2 components for enterprise deployment.
Organized jointly with the conference, the OW2 Village in Solutions Linux exhibition floor was an opportunity for visitors to attend project demos and discover commercial offers by vendors from the community as well as research activities on middleware OW2 technologies.
