OW2 Technology Council minutes

Agenda:
1) project classification
 - an issue for TC members to access the result page : Stéphane will fill in a bug about that issue
 - project classification scheme : incubator, mature and archive projects
 - browsing of project responses :
      - Some projects : for example HOWL are considered with no more activity by their leader so we can move them to archive status
      - Considering BaracudaMVC, should go to the incubator status (miss data sheet, has users, has activity, ...)
      - Some projects like SPAGOBI should go to the mature status because it respects all the criteria of business readiness
      - Some projects like ASM should go to the mature status because of its success and reusability, but it has no datasheet, no professional service. As it has no planned release (just maintenance), it should go to the archive status but still live and be modifiable (PYG). Offline addition by Alex Lefebvre : It would be more relevant for mature projects like ASM to incite them to fullfill Mature status requirements by a 3 months delay. Otherwise they should be moved to incubator or archive.
 
2) review of pending projects
Will be done at the next TC conf call.
- Create AZUKI forge
- Accept CMI following vote results
- Start the vote about Novaforge
- Start the vote about Talend

4) license issues
GB : License issues are not of the responsability of the TC except to focus on incompatibility issues between projects.

5) agenda for the 24 September TC meeting
Morning :
Presentation of elastic-grid
Ask for a presentation from Alcatel
Ask BULL to do a presentation of CMI
Presentation from Charles university about some new projects

Afternoon :
Project classification approval
Project interoperability issues : Himalaya
New communication infrastructure : Dimdim

6) Dimdim webinar tool
Dimdim to be added to OW2 infrastructure by European Local chapter to propose new communication and webinar means.

7) Articles for Linux Magazine Brazil
Call for articles about projects is ongoing.
TC members should send articles proposals to Catherine Nuel and Alexandre Lefebvre

8) Project flyers
Reminder : Project leaders must propose a project flyer. It is mandatory to become a mature project.
The template is available on the OW2 web site.

9) Date of next TC conf call
Proposal is the 3rd of September
