Open Source World Conference, Spain

IMPORTANT NOTE (October 7): Note the Open Source World Conference in Malaga has been cancelled, apparently due to economic recession reasons. But this is not the end of it! We are still convinced the time is right for OW2 to move forward in Spain and we are already exploring the opportunity to organize an OW2 workshop maybe in Madrid before the end of the year. Stay tuned!

Open Source World Conference 2010, Málaga, 27-28 de octubre

OW2 will participate at this conference, taking place on October 27-28 in Malaga, Spain.
We have reasons to believe this is the right moment for OW2 and its members to expand our presence in Spain.
Spain is one of the most dynamic open source regions in Europe. The Open Source World conference is the event where everyone who is relevant in open source in Spain will attend, including about 50% of the Spanish public administration bodies. This is a great opportunity for OW2 to develop partner networks and for its members to meet prospective users and clients.

Exhibition:
We will organize an OW2 Village.
Here is the list of members who have confirmed their interest in participating in the exhibition:
Bull Spain (confirmed) ; Engineering Group (tbc); BonitaSoft (tbc) ; Jaspersoft (tbc) ; eXo Platform (tbc); XWiki (tbc)
(the list will be updated regularly, please send an email to catherine.nuel AT ow2.org if you would be interested.)

Conference:
There is a Call for Proposals, open until July 31.
We will in parallel try and negotiate with the organizers an OW2 track, please let us know if you would like to be participate in this as well.
