Despite its wide acceptance for cloud services, REST APIs are not standard hence not interoperable. The OCCI standard is a formalized REST APIs, based on a resource-oriented extensible meta-model. The erocci framework is the first generic OCCI implementation, designed with scalability and extensibility in mind.
