Lasting three days – from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th September 2011 – the fourth Open World Forum (OWF) will once again take place this year in Paris, at the Eurosites George V, focusing on the dual issues of the Internet and Open Source.

OW2 is involved and actively participating in the Forum preparation.
Community Summit - September 22, 11am.
OW2 will organize the Community Summit, an open workshop focusing on the growth and management of open source communities.

The Summit will welcome many renown community practitioners including:

This year, the Community Summit centers on what keeps communities together: the Deal of Community, contributions and commitment in return for tangible and intangible benefits. Community Summit attendees will have a unique opportunity to share in the wisdom and experience acquired through years of management of and contributions to numerous communities and foundations including: Apache, Eclipse, Fedora, Fossbazar, Gnome, MySQL, OpenOffice, OuterCurve, OW2, SourceForge, etc. See more.

Open Cloud Track - September 22 at 3pm.
OW2 and the OSCi will be represented whithin the panel discussion on Sept 22 at 3pm and in the Case Studies presentations on Sept 23.

Denis Caromel will represent the ProActive project and James Marshall, Prologue will represent CompatibleOne project. See more.
