OpenStack Conference

Date: April 26-29, 2011.
The OpenStack Conference is for business development, technologists and others interested in the OpenStack open source project. It will take place on April 26-27. The OpenStack Design Summit for community developers will be April 27-29, 2011 and will consist of three days of blueprint reviews and discussions for future OpenStack releases.

OW2 and the OSCi have been invited to participate. OW2 presention includes an introduction to the CompatibleOne collaborative project and a live demonstration of the OW2 ProActive project (a part of CompatibleOne) deploying and undeploying OpenStack nodes on a cloud infrasctructure located 9 time zones away on the French Riviera.

A presentation will be given by Cédric Thomas, OW2 and Denis Caromel, ProActive on April 26. See the OSCi presentation schedule in the program.
Presentation abstract:
The presentation will introduce the OW2 Open Source Cloudware Initiative (OSCi) and the CompatibleOne project. OSCi is a unique community effort of thirty partners from Brazil, China, Europe and USA aimed at providing and promoting an integrated portfolio of open source software components for cloud computing. The presentation will provide a overview of CompatibleOne, the first large-scale project supported through OSCi.
