Preliminary program

Strategy Session

The objective of this session is to explore issues related to open source strategy, and exchange viewpoints.

It is addressed to academic and also industrial actors in business and economics. 

The session will be based on presentations and discussions, from OW2 and Nanjing business/economics industry, professors and PHD students.

Presentations (to be completed):

  • "OW2 and the economics of open source", Cedric Thomas (OW2 CEO).

Technology Session

The objective of this session is to discuss interest in technology domains and projects in the OW2 code base.

It is addressed to industrial and academic software engineering actors.

The session will be based on presentations and discussions, from OW2 and Nanjing business/economics industry, professors and PHD students.

Presentations (to be completed):

  • "OW2 projects and cloud computing initiatives", Alexandre Lefebvre (OW2 CTO).

Business Session

The objective of this session is to exchange with companies in the Nanjing area in order to share open source expertise, and explore the
development of exchanges between NUAA and companies on the basis of open source (including the promotion of open source to industry).

It is addressed to IT managers from Nanjing area companies.

Presentations will include case study presentations of OW2 code base industrial use.
