Following a note by Marc Sallières, of OW2 Coroporate Members Altic, Infoworld has published a story entitled: [Open source: What you should learn from the French>http://www.infoworld.com/article/08/08/28/35NF-open-source-france-lessons_1.html].

The story mentions OW2 projects such as Bonita, eXo Platform, SpagoBI and Talend. The paper also says nice things such as "Today, France is arguably the most fertile ground for open source development in the world. The well-known and respected OW2 Consortium for open source middleware has its roots there. "

Readers comments range from primal France bashing to more interesting considerations about open source.
