| Motivations | In 2005 I joined ObjectWeb, then OW2. Since the beginning, I have been Engineering Group representative at OW2 BoD, in which I have always played an active role, participating in almost all board meetings as well as in many OW2 events. I continuously involve Engineering Groups people into OW2 community, also through the various activities fostered by the consortium, such as: technology councils, OW2 BI Initiative, OW2 Open Source Cloudware initiative, OW2 events, on-line/in-person meetings, on-line discussions. I think that the active participation in a community is a key factor for its growth and success. Therefore, my participation in the board aims to stimulate OW2 growth in a pro-active and transparent way, in order to keep the community open and give an answer to many demands in the open source domain, coming from vendors, integrators, users, researchers and individuals. OW2 Consortium needs a real committed members participation and I will personally continue to put my own effort and stimulate OW2 community through the next Board. |
